Rick and Jan Thompson met at Wheaton Graduate School and their first year of marriage was on campus at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. After thirteen years serving the Hope Evangelical Free Church of Dubuque, Iowa, God called them to Moscow, Russia from 1992-1997 as the EFCM Eurasia Director and a senior pastor of Moscow Bible Church. Rick served as the district superintendent in Texas from 1997-2004 and now with the Great Lakes District since April of 2004. Jan served on the staff of two large churches to develop volunteer teams (Austin, Texas and Naperville, IL). She leads spiritual life retreats that connect people to the Lord and each other and seminars on various aspects of ministry. Rick and Jan live in Chicagoland and enjoy spending time with their three children and four grandchildren.
